America has voted and put in Alexis Grace and Michael Sarver into the Top 12. Sad news though for Tarheels fans as “Anoop Dogg” Anoop Desai was booted out of the competition which left the crowd stunned.
Given the exit door also include Casey Carlson, Stephen Fowler, Ricky Braddy and rocker chick Jackie Tohn. The next highest voter will be named later . The announcement of the wildcard participant is yet to be known .
The trio of Ann Marie Boskovich, Brent Keith and Stevie Wright also join the “You are not in the Top 12” list.
Next up was Danny Gokey and the annoying Tatiana del Toro. Ryan Seacrest asked Tatiana about her thoughts. Tatiana told Ryan it’s up for America to decide and indeed America made the right choice as Danny enters the Top 12.
There were 24 million votes last night–10 million more than this time last year.
